Always interested in hearing about what setups work for others and sharing what’s worked for me. Also, I wouldn’t mind some advice on the best ammo for coyotes, seems like everyone has a different opinion!

Welcome from Central Iowa

For a coyote setup, I like a semi auto .223 loaded with 50 or 55 gr hollow points or soft points. But if longer shots are likely, a .243 is better, and a .25/06 is the cat's meow. Some shooters think the .25/06 is overkill, but I say there's no such thing as overkill when you're hunting song dogs.

Hey there! Feel free to explore, see what catches your eye, and don’t hesitate to jump in and share your thoughts. We’ve all been the new kid at some point, so asking questions is totally fine! If you ever need assistance, just give us a shout. Welcome to the family!
