I heard a friend found a tick in a really odd place after a camping trip. Just curious about other strange encounters people have had with these critters!
What's the most bizarre tick story you've got?

I took my daughter and niece out on public ground in NW Iowa to hang trail cameras. It was a glorious morning with lots of dew on the waist-high grass. We walked a two track in to our spots. On the way back to the truck, all the dew was dried up and the ticks came out in droves!
When the first tick was spotted, we all glanced down at our legs and the little buggers were making their way up our legs. We double timed it back to the truck, and once there, began the much hurried task of pulling the little blood munchers off our clothes and skin. I didn't much enjoy it but I did get a huge laugh at watching my daughter and niece freak out.
I think each of us pulled off at least a dozen, if not more. Half of those were already in my skin.
On the drive home, the truck was filled with screams as more ticks were discovered. My daughter snatched one off my neck so fast, it made me jump. It was quite the adventure, one I'll never forget. We did get some nice buck pictures from that trip.
