Not directly firearms related but many of us have been guilty of this when hunting.
Cell phone use when driving MUST be handsfree. If your vehicle doesn't have that option, put it down and don't touch it!

Not a finable offence until 01/01/2026. Until then just warnings. Don't look for any change in habits till they get hit with the $100+ fine.

It also gives the PD another probable cause to stop you, which can result in all kinds of things.
