I rarely shoot more than 75 feet with a handgun. I just don't find it productive. My pieces are compacts as well so the short sight radius makes long ranges difficult. I have shot a Ruger 9 carbine at 100 yards with irons and that's doable though. With Winchester White Box ammo I got nice "minute of felon" size groups offhand at 100 yards...
