My journey toward better performance has shown me that factory ammo isn't always the way to go. I've heard from several people that reloading your own rounds is where the real gains are.

How many of you are into this reloading thing?

I am just a little, but I'm not very experienced. I got into it just as a way to try to save a little money. I really don't do precision work or competition loading.

Reloading can be where its at or just a big can of worms. Get a manual or two and read through them. Find a used single stage press and load pistol rounds to learn the ropes. It's easy to get caught up in it and spend alot of money.

I completely agree, especially about purchasing a reloading manual to learn from.

I've been reloading for more than 40 years.

I have been reloading for about 10yrs, and it is an expensive hobby to get into, but worth it if you plan on putting in the time. I love it, and am always proud when the ammo I have made has been used to harvest a whitetail, coyotes, etc. It is a big investment in time in money, so make sure you have the time to devote to it. If you do decide to move forward with it, feel free to contact me and I can certainly help you out.

I have been reloading for around 25 years. I reload for almost everything I shoot, even have the capability to reload .22lr if needed. I use a combination of 3 different presses, a Hornady LnL Ammo plant for pistol/revolver cartridges, A Lee 4 hole turret for rifle cartridges, and a Lyman Spartan for sizing cast lead.
