Thank you from SE Iowa. I am a retired old guy with lots of experience of hunting and fishing. I live in Burlington atop the north bluff. I am also a retired custom knife maker.

Yes, and thank you, John. I fish rivers only unless I am fishing for bait. I used to trout fish in NE Iowa a lot. I fish the Mississippi, Skunk, and Iowa rivers. I look out my windows at the Mississippi River every day. How about you, do you river fish?

I meant the Mississippi when I said the river. I fish pretty close to home most of the time. Been fishing the Cedar in C R last two three falls for Walleye and am starting to figure that out a little. Bow fish more than pole fish spring and summer. Grass carp and Quil back are my favorites these days.

The Cedar is a very nice river. I used to fish it years ago.

Welcome from Central Iowa. I live between the Skunk and the Iowa River. I don't river fish much because I never catch anything but suckers. But I grew up on the Iowa in Hardin County and I love that river, as mucky and polluted as it is these days...

Thanks, Spike! As of today, I will be hunting with a suppressed rifle. I received my tax stamp and picked up my suppressor for my 5.56 rifle. The Silencer Shop was a great help getting through the process of the tax stamp.
