Drill and tapped an old H and R shotgun for a picatinny rail and have been playing around with shotgun adaptors in it, So far I have a 357 mag and a 7.62x25 Tokarev adaptor for it. Hope to get a 30 Carbine down the road. So far I like it. I may go to iron sights just to make the whole set up more handy to carry and haul around as a truck gun kind of thing. For now the red dot gives me a better idea how accurate it will shoot different loads.

I only shoot mild cast bullet loads since I think this is not the stronger of the two receiver designs.

That's a pretty cool setup! I admire you keeping the loads light in that old H and R. Adapters can be fun but I'd keep a really close watch on how it locks up and the headspace. Maybe some simpler iron sights would be better for that truck gun in the long run.
