The mean streets of Ankeny!Spikedriver, you are man of taste and discrimination! I just moved from the LC9 i bought about a half hour after they hit the market in 2011 to a Max9. As an instructor, i teach listening for and feeling trigger re-set. The LC9 was double-action only.
Ruger screwed up withe the trigger they put on the Max. I upgraded to an Mcarbo and i’m very happy with it - 13 vs 8 rounds is good too. The SR-9 welcomed the new arrival warmly.
I started carrying a Security Six on the mean streets in Ankeny abt 1980 and i’ll die a Ruger man. If they’d only listened to me re that goofy Max trigger…
I appreciate how you focus on feeling the trigger reset in your lessons. It’s definitely more useful than just memorizing drills. There’s something really nice about sticking with a brand that has gained your trust over the years.Spikedriver, you are man of taste and discrimination!
