I want to tap into the community's knowledge about cold-weather storage. Which lubricants have you found to be effective in maintaining their performance and preventing corrosion? If you have any platform-specific notes, I’d love to hear those too!

Rem oil is my trusty old standby. I also like Ballistol. I don't think Ballistol is quite as good a lubricant as Rem oil but it also cleans metal and in a pinch it can be a bore cleaner for punching powder residue out of the barrel.

I use Gun Butter. I started using a lighter oil in the winter and stopped using too much of it. Thick grease made my slide slow down when it got freezing cold..

I switched to lighter oil when it got cold after a slower day at the range. Heavy lube was slowing everything down more than I expected. Since then, winter hasn’t been an issue.

Bottom line....the less lube the better generally speaking. Make sure the friction points of your firearms have very light coats of lube on them after cleaning and don't worry about it. Also, when your rifles are in a safe, point them muzzle down, then any oil won't run into the action, trigger assembly, etc.
