Has anyone managed to put together a featureless AR? If you have, I’d love to know how it went for you. Did you buy a rifle that was already set up or did you gather the parts yourself? I’m looking for some real-life experiences from those who’ve done it.

Sorry, can't help you with all that. I bought one once, set up as an M4 clone out of the box. I wish I had done it differently now. It would have had a 20 inch medium heavy barrel and a free floating hand guard instead of the M4 short pipe. And no collapsible stock!

I built one instead of buying and it was definitely a learning curve. Getting it both up to code and comfortable took some messing around but I’m glad I stuck with it.
