What Is Your Favorite Shooting Range?

What’s your favorite shooting range and what keeps you going back? I’m looking for recommendations, especially if you have a favorite indoor or outdoor spot.

They have Indoor and different outdoor range set ups.
The rifle range goes from 50 yards out to metal plates at 350 yards.
shotgun range for clay pigeon shoots. Plus, the pistol range, from 10 yards out to 25 yards I believe and a sight in range from 25 yards out to 90 yards.

My favorite range is the old gravel pit on my dad's farm. We have an old spoor pile for a backstop there and a 100 yard line to the west. Most years my brother cuts the grass and bales it, or it will get tall enough to be in the way. On the North side of the spoor pile we cut into it with a loader bucket to make a short pistol range. For the last 9 years I've been living about an hour from the farm so I didn't get up there to shoot much. I'm moving 30 minutes closer this month, so I should be able to go more often.

There is a decent public gun range at Steamboat Rock in North Central Iowa. It is at Pine Ridge county park. I have run into a lot of muzzleloader competition shooters there in the past. They like to practice there. Sometimes it can be pretty busy with them, and they're not always fond of guys shooting high powers while they practice. It has 100 yard beams and pistol berms. It is also very close to a nice campground and a small lake. They built it so that you are shooting away from those, but there can be distractions around from vehicles and people on the driving path.
